About reminders

The H2OS Reminders feature

1. Can show the reminders screen during startup (optional, see Setup->Options->Display)
    

2. Shows a reminders message on the main screen, below the search (command) entry field, that can be used to access the reminders screen
    

3. Vehicle registration, inspection and insurance reminders
    

4. Birthdays
    

5. The Reminders page
    

6. If you are using the Systems Management (problems, change, requirements, etc) feature, reminders may be generated for related activities.

Sources of reminders

H2OS includes a Reminders system that can be used for:

1. Reminders the you enter

2. Birthday reminders

3. Holiday reminders

4. Vehicle maintenance reminders

The Calendar database

The reminders system uses the H2OS calendar database:

1. To store reminder records on upcoming events

2. To trigger reminder messages on-screen

The Reminders page can be used to

1. add reminders
    

2. search reminders
    

3. browse reminders

How reminders are issued

The primary means for H2OS to remind you of these activities occurs during logon, when a screen such as this is displayed if there are 1 or more current reminders

In addition to the reminder screen shown during startup, if there are any currently open reminders, a message will appear on the main H2OS screen indicating the number of open reminders in a message below the << < > >> navigation commands.

Reminder color coding

Yellow = expired but still OPEN

White  = future (today forward)

Green = done

Purple = cancelled
